Why Alameda
The Alameda location is the newest Ohgane and the only one paired with Vons Chicken, the Korean fried chicken concept we partnered with in 2024. South Shore Center is a family-first shopping center, and the room is built for that - wider walkways, more booth seating, and a Vons Chicken counter at the entrance so a half-and-half meal of BBQ and fried chicken is on the table in fifteen minutes.
If you've eaten at Ohgane Oakland and wondered what it would taste like with Korean fried chicken at the same table — this is that. Same 72-hour marinade on the galbi. Same banchan rotation rebuilt every morning. Plus three Vons Chicken cuts: original, soy-garlic, and the spicy gochujang glaze that the line cooks fight over.
All-You-Can-Eat
Alameda's AYCE program includes the Korean BBQ menu plus a limited Vons Chicken add-on tier. Standard AYCE Combo: unlimited galbi, bulgogi, spicy pork, brisket, banchan rotation, rice, lettuce wraps. Parking & Directions
South Shore Center has a free open-air parking lot wrapping the property. We're on the south side, the row facing Otis Drive. From the 880 freeway: take High Street exit west, turn left on Park, then right on Otis. From the Webster Tube: come up Webster, turn left on Otis, center is on the left. AC Transit lines 51A and 851 stop directly in front of South Shore Center.

Alameda's kitchen specializes in family-event catering — birthday parties, baby showers, sports team dinners — typically for 20-80 guests.
